Who We Are
The Student National Medical Association is a national organization committed to supporting current and future underrepresented minority medical students, addressing the needs of underserved communities, and increasing the number of clinically excellent, culturally competent, and socially conscious physicians. Although SNMA is geared towards underrepresented and minority students, the organization is open to all students.
SNMA Region VII encompasses several medical schools in the states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island, Maine, and New Hampshire. In line with the goals of the National Chapter, Region VII chapters remain committed to our mission of diversifying the face of medicine.
